I'm Back!

Oh hey look, outfit photos! It's been, what, a year and a half since I've posted them? They're definitely not high quality but it's a start and I like it. I definitely need to declutter a corner of my apartment though.

This outfit kind of reminds me of a mullet, only instead of "business in the front, party in the back," it's "business on top, party on the bottom." So glad my company doesn't have a strict dress code. I've started to accept the fact I would probably never be able to work anywhere that adheres strictly to "business casual." I like my jeans and sandals and Toms too much.

I don't normally wear shorts to work, but now I have these, which are a little thicker and nicer, so I may start wearing them a more regularly when the forecast calls for 80 plus degrees like it has lately. This summer weather has been insane in Seattle so far. Normally real summer weather doesn't hit until after the 4th of July, but we've been in the 80s for the past week and I love it.

But back to these shorts. I've been eyeing them at Target for a month or two now, but I didn't need them and I'm trying and failing to save money. But they were on sale this weekend for $12 (I think they're normally around $22) so I couldn't resist. And I got super lucky because this was the only one in my size-- the next sizes were four sizes up/down so it's a good thing these ones fit!

It really does feel great to do outfit photos again, even if I'm literally just using a propped up iPhone. I'll start getting the hang of it again soon, hopefully. And I'll get better at detail shots and whatnot. I tried to get the back of this shirt because it's got a pretty lace inset, but it didn't turn out (you can see it here).
