Army of One

Can I just take a minute to say that I swear, I spent like twenty minutes trying to iron this shirt last night. I tried a few different settings, but the iron just wasn't heating up, so I don't know what was wrong. So we're just going to pretend that these huge creases are none existent, okay? Okay. Glad we're agreed.

This is another one of the new shirts I got this past weekend. I was drawn to the back (naturally), but getting dressed this morning, I was getting a bit of a military vibe. I think it's the green and the gold buttons? Who knows, it could just be me. But anyways, I wanted to kind of speak to that by wearing more outdoorsy boots.

Speaking of, I got two compliments on these boots today. It was very exciting! This probably sounds super stuck up, but I love being able to say, "Oh, I got these in Barcelona." I try not to sound stuck up when I say it though, I swear. But seriously. Not too shabby for €9.90.

So, on the bus, almost every day this week, morning and night, we've had different drivers. It throws me off so much. I never realized how much I counted on having the same driver (or one of a couple, at night), and it's kind of jarring. I always have to double check the time to make sure I'm on the right bus or something. Routines are silly things. You can get so caught up in them, and you don't even realize that you have one until it changes. The same thing happens whenever regulars aren't on the bus.
