Funny Face

This morning I didn't have very much time to take outfit photos (they were done in four minutes...), so I'm surprised that I liked as many of the pictures that I did. The first batch was blurry, but I really liked a lot of the pictures in the second batch. I think they feel more me than a lot of other pictures that I take.

I'm not really the kind of person who feels natural posing in front of a camera, which you can probably tell from the fact I have approximately 3 poses I do over and over again. I think it's so odd, since when I was little, my mom had my pictures done professionally a lot. Our wall used to be covered in them. I was even on the mall calendar. Twice. I was that legit :P

Anyways, about halfway through the second batch I started making silly faces, and kind of didn't stop. Making faces is a habit of mine, and it's one that's ruined many a good picture because I'm incapable of smiling like a normal person. But I liked it this morning, because it made taking pictures less serious, which meant I was more relaxed.

On a completely unrelated note, I was having a good hair day today. It was wonderful! I've been using Organix (Bartell's had a really good deal on it a couple weeks ago) and I've been liking it, but my hair has been refusing to dry when I sleep. This means I'm stuck with it air drying while I'm on the and weather does bad things to my hair.

But last night I took my shower early, and it was mostly dry when I went to bed, which helped down on so much frizz today. I'll have to remember to keep taking my showers early, because it's been so nice not totally hating my hair.

Dress: Target. Shoes: TOMS.
Also, my "signature pose" is back!

And I've apparently been on a Target kick? It's odd, since I don't actually think I own that much from Target? But the past three days I've worn stuff from Target, all of which I bought this summer.

I really do need to remember to take detail shots, since this dress is actually striped! There are little gray strips on it. I'll try to remember next time, I promise!
