Ants in Your Pants

I think all my complaining about the weather yesterday worked, since this morning it was gorgeous out. I had a few minutes to kill before I had to leave for the bus this morning, so I decided to take advantage of the nice weather and take outfit photos.

This is the shirt I bought this weekend, bringing my chambray collection up to three now. I'll have to try and photograph the other one soon, I love the back. Anyways, I really like this shirt. It's super comfy, and the fact it's sleeveless makes it perfect for summer.

I mentioned these jeans a little while back (though I was wrong, they were only $8!), but this is their first appearance on the blog. I love them so much!  Though, the first time I wore them it was with a black tank top, which was a bad idea, since I felt like I was dressed for Halloween. The only thing that's kind of sad about these jeans is the fact that they're supposed to be ankle jeans, but I'm so short, they're normal jeans.

Unfortunately, halfway through taking pictures, I looked down and found my foot covered in ants. I had apparently stepped on top of an ant hill burrowed in the driveway. I tried not to freak out but shaking my foot didn't work and there were so many of them, that I kind of gave up and just wanted to get them off my foot.

Clearly, I would be a horrible model, since I can't model through anything. But I think they were biting me, though there weren't any marks later, and I just wanted them off. I kept feeling them on my foot long after they were gone too, which was awful.

I kind of like the shots my camera got while I was trying to de-ant my foot (and then while I was fleeing), though. I love the lighting in this last one. I accidentally still had my camera set to be a little darker, so I had to brighten a lot of the pictures, but I think this last one ended up perfect. Especially considering I thought I was out of shots, so I didn't actually know it was still taking pictures.
